Meet Our Team

Brandy is part of our front desk team! She loves making new little friends with our young patients, and watching them get their braces off. She keeps them laughing while also doing her best to keep a schedule that works for patients and staff and keeping insurance up to date. Brandy likes to relax with her spouse and animals, read, refurbish furniture and work on her house.

Debbie joined our practice in February 2025 as our receptionist. She enjoys the camaraderie of her coworkers and brings a cheerful, welcoming presence to the front desk. Debbie describes herself as a “little happy snack cake,” a reflection of her warm personality and friendly demeanor that help make patients feel at ease from the moment they arrive.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys relaxing in her hammock and feeding the feral cats in her neighborhood. She values these quiet moments outdoors and the chance to connect with her community in her own unique way.

Holly became a part of our front desk team in April of 2022 and has a variety of duties that help her go where she is needed. She has been married for 40 years and has a daughter, son-in-law and one grandson.

Jess received her associates in business in July of 2022 from the American Intercontinental University. She joined our team in May of 2023 as our office manager and treatment coordinator and helps patients navigate their insurance and orthodontic options. She loves meeting and connecting with patients and their family. Jess has a husband, son and two dogs, and loves reading and gardening.

Colleen’s responsibilities as our business manager are to ensure that the practice runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, from scheduling to patient flow to staff accountability. She loves how she gets to help people transform their smiles, and when little kids learn the importance of dentistry. Colleen has a husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking and vacationing to new places.

Sherry received her hygienist certification from the University of Pittsburgh. She joined DeMaria Family Orthodontics & Dentistry almost 30 years ago and loves working with the kids and helping them to have a good experience. Sherry enjoys spending time with her family as well as golfing, bowling, cardio kick-boxing, biking, hiking and gardening.

Christina attended Western School of Health & Business for her dental assisting certificate and the University of Pittsburgh for her dental hygiene certificate. She joined our team in 2008 as our dental hygienist, and is not only a team player but is also dedicated to helping children have a great dental experience and educating them on proper oral hygiene.

Christina has two children, a daughter and a son, and when not in the office enjoys going on walks, golfing and watching her son play hockey. She also loves all things Disney!

Leah attended Rock University for her bachelor’s degree in health science, and WCCC for her certification as a dental hygienist. She enjoys being a hygienist in a practice that is team oriented and where everyone is understanding, detail-oriented, passionate and positive. Leah is committed to continuously engaging her patients and their parents in oral health education and to providing a comfortable and friendly environment.

Leah is married to Matt. She is a Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoys gardening and watching TV and movies.

Shannon attended Westmoreland Community College where she graduated with her dental hygiene degree in 2016. She feels like she is making a difference in the children’s dental routine and teaching them something. She is a team player and loves helping educate patients. Shannon is married to her husband, Tony, and they have a dog and two cats. She enjoys walking her dog, being outside, boating in the summer and crafting. She wants patients to remember to always smile!

Tricia began her career in dentistry in 1985 as a dental assistant and joined our practice in 2024 as our pediatric dental assistant. She values working alongside great coworkers and is passionate about helping children overcome any fear of visiting the dentist. Her adaptability, organizational skills and willingness to step in wherever needed make her an important part of our team’s success.

Tricia is married and has three adult children. Outside of the office, she enjoys being creative, especially through designing and making custom tumblers.

Elizabeth has been with DeMaria Family Orthodontics & Dentistry since April 2007, and she is passionate about patient care! As a certified orthodontic assistant and expanded functions dental assistant, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience with her to the office every day.

Elizabeth and her husband, Jay, have two children and four grandchildren. When she is not at the office, she enjoys jazzercize and spending time with her family.

Kathy joined our team in January 2018 and loves interacting with our patients and helping them improve their smiles. She is committed to delivering quality care to each person she meets.

Marine joined our practice in September 2023 as our orthodontic assistant. She enjoys being part of a workplace where collaboration and kindness are at the heart of everything. Marine contributes to the success of the team by showing up each day with a positive attitude and a willingness to step in wherever she is needed to support her coworkers.

Originally from France, most of Marine’s family still lives there, but she is grateful for the life she is building here with her son. In her free time, she enjoys anything that gets her outdoors, with gardening as a favorite pastime, and she also loves creating pottery.

Kiwanita joined our practice in July 2024 as our orthodontic assistant and dental assistant after completing the 13-week program at Cornerstone Dental Assistant Academy. She enjoys meeting new people and witnessing the positive impact on a patient’s confidence during and after treatment. She contributes to the team by creating a safe and welcoming environment, supporting patients throughout their treatment and building trust through her communication skills and empathetic nature.

Outside of work, Kiwanita loves spending time with her husband, Nate. She also enjoys kayaking, fishing and biking, finding joy and relaxation in outdoor adventures.

Katie graduated from the dental assisting program from Sandford Brown in 2009. She became an orthodontic assistant on our team in February 2025 and loves getting to talk to all the patients. She has been dubbed the office’s “Ray of Sunshine”. Katie has a teenage daughter and a 9-year-old son, and loves baking, cake decorating, painting and scrapbooking in her free time.
